With Growl, I only see the first notification (twice) from a single user, if the user sends more messages, I do not get the notifications. Also, if an additional user sends a message causing another tab to open up, I do not see any of users notifications.

Notifications with Growl: Only get one growl notification, even if sent mutliple messages
