  1. setup an LDAP or AD openfire checking "Store avatar in database if not provided by LDAP"
  2. login to openfire with any XMPP client
  3. add/modify the avatar
  4. Clear the avatar

Trying to delete an avatar, the server throws this error:

java.lang.NullPointerException
