I can not duplicate this yet. I have no doubt that it's probably happening, so I'm not closing it or anything, but I'm going to hold off for the moment unless I discover something before release time.
I believe I have this fixed now via storing people in "General" instead of the parent group. I had forgotten that ICQ doesn't do the parent group like AIM does.

I've just started to experiment with the latest openfire and different clients. With Gajim I had all my ICQ contacts deleted, not sure what caused that. Thanks Just hapened again with other client. Probably caused after I renamed General group to ICQ.
