I like the spacing that shows up between the groups, but it looks like the spacer appears regardless of whether the group is actually showing. So if you have a couple of groups in a row that are currently "empty", then you'll see an extra wide gap. Note the gap in the picture between the last group and the offline group. This occurs with other areas as well, but unfortunately most of my groups have at least one person online right now. But there's a Test and Test Accounts group at the bottom that's not currently showing.
