A dialog for sending invites to multiple users has been completed (mirrors Spark's functionality).

Work is in progress for receiving invites.

Fixed with my commit of r55130.

NOTE: Be sure to update to the latest revision of XIFF, as there was a missing piece to the invite puzzle that I needed to write for this issue.
