Admins notification about Updates

What does this mean?

Enabled - Administrators will receive notifications when new updates are available.

Should i get IM message then? I’'m not.

And what about adding Update Now button to Plugins page, not just in Available Plugins?

So finally with 3.4.0b1 i’ve got a message from server about plugin update. Though this message has no “From” entry. I mean it shows blank tab in Spark.
