Spark + predefined user profile + windows login?

Hi,

I’m looking at deploying spark to a certain group of end users and I’m looking at making the install process a bit easier.

What I would like to do is:

  1. create a default profile that sets server, port, etc.

  2. when they login w/ spark, use their windows account as username.

Has anyone implemented such a plugin, or can anyone provide some advice on where to get started?

This is done via configuring SSO for the clients. You will still need to deliver a set of preferences to the machines. I have attached a sample set of preferences for spark, openfire.xml with SSO config, and a document I use to configure SSO.
