GTalk != XMPP? =(

Hi Folk,

Just saw this:

http://code.google.com/android/migrating/m3-to-m5/m5-api-changes.html#gtalk

It looks like the GTalk transport may end up becoming more than what it currently is in terms of --- it might need to be more than just a "copy" of the XMPP transport.

Yeah. Now you will have to replace all xmpp strings with gtalk Joking. It's a pity. But i hope you will continue to maintain gtalk transport

Re: GTalk != XMPP? =(

The doc in the link states only changes for the Mobile par (aka Android). Maybe I am thinking too positive here, but it does not state a general "Gtalk moves away from CMMP".

We'll see.
