audit log viewer?

 

Hello,

 

 

Can anyone give me an idea of an easy way to view the audit logs generated in the free version of openfire? Unfortunately I sold openfiore to management on the fact that there are audit logs of conversations, they have now held me to that and what to see some.

I have managed to concatenate all the logs into one xml file with a perl script and import this into Excel, however it is slow as hell, I was hoping someone could suggest an easy way to view these audit files within a webpage, is there any magic way to do XML to HTML tables anyone is aware of?

Hi,

 

you may want to take a look at http://www.igniterealtime.org/community/message/148830 - the XSL there is for the (patched) Spark conversation history and thus not usable for the the audit log but it shows the way one could use.

 

I would never merge the single files into one big file as this makes everything slow and one can no longer handle it.

I was looking for the same thing a month or so ago and found this program some where on these forums. The code is not mine but i modified it to fit the date format my server uses. if you dig around you should be able to find the original and a perl script as well if i remember correctly.
