Any simple way to telnet port 5222 to check the health of the openfire

Hi,

    Is there any simple way to telnet the openfire in 5222 port to check the server healthy? If, can anyone share the input XML message and expected output?

    With the help on that page, and i also use wireshark to list out all the XMPP stream. Finally i got the following.

 

telnet > 5222 Return: PLAINCRAM-MD5DIGEST-MD5zlib You then input: <> Return: <> You then input: <><><> Return: input: ]]>

Return:

Your roster content in XML....
