Search plugin bug: wrong category in XMPP

There is a thread about the discovery of the "search" (directory) feature for XMPP on Pidgin''s mailing list. (Website is down at the moment because of the slashdot-effect)

It looks like the search plugin is sending the wrong information back to Pidgin:

jabber: Recv (ssl)(268): " to="user@chat.example.com/Work ">]]>

According to xmpp.org, there is no "search" category for discovery:

http://www.xmpp.org/registrar/disco-categories.html

I know that Exodus and other clients correctly identify the search server, but Pidgin/Gaim does not.

This applies to Wildfire 3.1.1. I''m not sure if this is already fix in Openfire 3.3.0.

is this a known issue?
