Wildfire 3.2.0 released

We are pleased to announce the release of Wildfire 3.2.0 including updated versions of the Enterprise plugin and the connection manager module. Wildfire 3.2 is a major milestone for the project that includes lots of new features, improvements and an incredible boost in scalability. This is the first milestone where we started branching out beyond instant messaging by diving into VoIP support.

Hi Wildfire Team,

 

Is this a final release version that includes features in RC2? How many is maximum concurrent connections this new version can handle on a single WF server?

Hey Randy,

 

The final release includes the RC2 plus some other bug fixes. In my local development machine I was able to have 30K concurrent users. Are you expecting to have more concurrent users?

The link for ''Upgrade Guide'' on the Documentation page ( http://www.igniterealtime.org/builds/wildfire/docs/latest/documentation/index.ht ml ) goes to the Install Guide, which doesn''t have any useful information about upgrading to Wildfire 3.2.0.

 

Is there a separate Upgrade Guide?

 

EDIT: Never mind.  I just saw the big sticky post at the top of this forum.  I''m blind.

It would be good for the "Upgrade Guide" link on the documentation page to point to the upgrade guide, though.
